Wow! I can’t believe that it’s been a whole year since I took the leap and joined the world of blogging.
I initially started this blog for one reason and one reason only…to participate in the weekly photo challenges hosted by the Daily Post. Funny right?
Before discovering the Daily Post, I participated in the weekly photo challenges hosted by the Digital Photography School. The challenges were great because it encouraged me to pick up my camera and to get creative. When DPS took a bit of a hiatus from doing the weekly challenges, I was greatly disappointed.
I searched and searched for a new challenge and I finally discovered the Daily Post. I wanted to jump into the challenges right away, however, there was only one small problem…I didn’t have a blog.
I didn’t know anything about blogging (still learning everyday) and had a bit of stage fright about starting one. However, I was fortunate to have a friend who had a blog and who was very encouraging.
So here I am one year later and very glad that I took the plunge! Having a blog is not only great for connecting with others, but it’s also a visual journal of sorts. It allows me to see how I’m progressing as a photographer.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from this past year:
Thank you for joining me on this journey as I continue to explore my passion for photography! Your support and comments have meant a lot.
