The Liebster Award

A BIG thank you to Tieme over at Luvo Photography for nominating me for the Liebster Award! I am truly honored.

The purpose of the award is for new bloggers, to introduce themselves in the world of blogging.

Liebster AwardLike my nominator, I had to think about accepting the award, but in the end I decided to go with it because it would be fun and hopefully you’ll learn a little bit more about me!

The rules of the award is to:

  1. Acknowledge and accept the Liebster Award by leaving a comment on the blog where you were nominated.
  2. Copy the Liebster Logo and paste it onto your own blog.
  3. Inform your nominees by leaving a comment on their respective blogs.
  4. In your blog post about the Liebster Award:
    • Link back to the blogger who nominated you.
    • Answer the 11 Questions by the person who nominated you
    • List 11 Random Facts about yourself
    • Nominate, and link to three- eleven(11) other blogs which you enjoy and have fewer than 3,000 followers.
    • List 11 Questions for your nominees.

Here are the questions asked by my nominator and these answers will also serve as my 11 random facts:

  1. When do you feel like blogging? Mostly on Mondays and Fridays. I try to make Monday and Friday my standard posting days.
  2. When do you not feel like blogging? When I don’t think I have any good pictures to share.
  3. What do you prefer: A like, a re-blog, or a comment on your posts? I don’t care to much for re-blogs, “Likes” are great, but I absolutely love comments because I know what the reader is thinking.
  4. For what fun reason can people wake you up at night? It would have to be extraordinary news.
  5. If you are not able to do what you like most for a year, what would you do? I really love to travel, so I would be bummed. It would be a good incentive to save for a great trip the following year.
  6. Three times a week pizza, or three times a week being active outdoors? Hmm…maybe a little of both?
  7. Read a book, or watch a movie? After reading a good book, watch a good movie. 😉
  8. What are your talents? Planning trips!
  9. What are your pitfalls? I’m a pack rat (I hate to throw things away)
  10. What would it take for you to change jobs, school, or any daily activity? A well laid out plan.
  11. Complete the next sentence: I am traveling and in my bag are at least these three items.. (besides the obvious) A schedule of each day’s activities, my camera, and a sense of adventure (that counts right?).

I  nominate the following people (they have really great blogs, so please check them out!):

My questions for my fellow bloggers  are:

  1. What motivated you to start a blog?
  2. Generally, what makes you click “like” on other blogs?
  3. What do you prefer: A like, a re-blog, or a comment on your posts?
  4. If you could invite any famous person out for dinner, who would it be?
  5. If you are not able to do what you like most for a year, what would you do?
  6. Vacation or Staycation?
  7. Read a book, or watch a movie?
  8. What’s your favorite photo you’ve taken?
  9. What’s the best thing that happened to you in 2014?
  10. Name one thing that you would like to cross off your bucket list next year?
  11. Complete the next sentence: If I won a million dollars I would…

Thanks again for nominating me Tieme!

      1. I don’t like the spirit in which reblogging is sometimes used. In my view, it is disturbing when someone takes your content and it appears to be their own or your post is used like spam. I would be flattered if someone would like to share a post, I would just request that they link to my page instead of reblog it.

        I hope that makes sense.

      2. If someone does it right, it always reflects back on to your original post. The likes and comments will be coming to your original post. So far I have done only once. So I am not an expert comment on this. But I guess Reblog is also a good think like comments and likes 🙂

  1. What a lovely post! And thank you for participating 🙂

The busy days of christmas are over, finally some time to get back to blogging 🙂 I try to blog at least once a week (Wednesday preferable), it is hard to find something to tell and share a nice photo. Like you, if I blog I want to entertain people, or learn something. I can’t blog about “what I did today”. There at least have to be a good photo.

Fantastic to read you schedule your trips! I do the same, which sometimes irritates my girlfriend 😉 But I always make sure there is time for wandering to non-touristic scenes. The best photos, and the real country you are visiting can be found in the alleys where the tourists stay away.

The answer to the question “What would it take for you to change jobs, school, or any daily activity?” isn’t surprising, since you seem like an organised person (except for the hording maybe haha 😉 ). But it is a nice answer: Most answers are the cause of the change (if you get bored at work or something similar – which is a good answer too), and you look a head!

Keep on looking ahead and have a great new year!

  2. Chloe, you know that I am a big fan of your photography! So well deserved nomination! I would totally nominate you but you were faster! Thank you so much for your nomination! I truly appreciate it!

I'd Love To Hear From You!!
