52 Frames: Frame #8 – Uncommon

This week was the perfect opportunity to use a technique I’ve always wanted to try…forced perspective (an uncommon way to look at things). One aspect of forced perspective is to make the viewer believe that certain objects are smaller or larger than they actually are.

I walked around a bit and tried different ideas to make the photo come to life. I finally discovered that the DC Washington Memorial was the ideal landmark to try this experiment with. It took a few tries, but I had a lot of fun in the process.

Here is the final result!

A special thank you to my model who did a great job (and had a lot of patience so that I could get the perfect shot). 😉

  1. Love this! Also love that you keep on trying out new stuff. I really should take a leaf out of your book, but you know what my excuse always is – you left and I can’t go out and do all this by myself :-p

    1. Hi Kiki! Thanks. So many more things to try. I miss you too dear friend. I disagree with not trying new things though…I love how you’re rocking different light set ups and your playfulness with backgrounds has been great. Keep those creative ideas coming. 🙂

I'd Love To Hear From You!!
